X-Treme X-Cursion Elite 24V

Brand New Re-Designed X-Treme Power Assisted Folding Mountain Bike / Bicycle running on a 300 watt zero resistance gear rear hub motor (if you choose to ride without power you won't feel the resistance of the motor when pedaling), an upgraded 24 Volt 10.4 Amp (previously only 8 amp) removable lightweight Lithium battery pack for long-distance riding, 7 Speed Shimano gear system, upgraded JAK front & rear brakes, ALL Aluminium frame & wheels, hydraulic shocks & off-road tires.

The battery is now located inside the bicycle frame and is accessible when the bike is folded in half. This allows for the seat to adjust much lower than our older version X-Cursion and can be comfortably ridden by a shorter rider. This new feature also allows your battery to not be seen. With this new feature your On/Off Switch, as well as Battery Charging Port, is located on the frame underneath a Rubber Cover Flap.

The folding electric mountain bike is great for individuals with small living spaces, RV'ers, campers, college students, and anyone who wants a lightweight foldable mode of reliable transportation.

Fun Ride...

Enjoy riding this bike with my kids and by myself for a quick loop and easy storage in the garage. So here are my Pros and Cons:

Pro:

Electric
Foldable
Easy Ride

Cons:

1. Electric gauge isn’t very useful and don’t know if your battery is full or low, but can tell only by the ride as it loses power when you engage the motor
2. Instructions are horrible, but with common sense should be able to assemble (disregard some of the extra pieces)
3. Never heard back from Ryan on what to do with the extra pieces.
4. You cannot remove battery and charge it and must use the plug-in on the frame
5. Rack mount is tricky to put on
6. Regardless of how much you adjust the disk brake, you will get some rubbing due to the removable front wheel.

Other than that above in the CONs would still purchase again compared to some other brands due to the purchase price.

Surpassed Expectations

Solid cruise bike and for me this bike gets a five star rating for its durability and versatility. It is well worth the price for someone who needs a solid, comfortable, eco-friendly and cost-efficient vehicle. I have consistently beaten mass transit to and from work and during several snowstorms I was the only one on the road making it to work on time. Highly recommend this bike and had fast delivery.

Sick bike

Got my X treme X cursion bike last month and have loved every second of it. Have been taking it so several diffeerrent mountain bike tracks around Colarado. Easy to fold up and store in the car and amazing ride through the mountains. Would recommend it to anyone who's into mountain bikibg or getting it to mountain biking with the electric motor.

Amazing bike for the family

We’ve had the bike for a couple of months and we love it. It is a bit louder than other e-bikes but it’s a smooth and comfortable ride. We have an autistic child and he loves riding around in it. Couldn’t be a happier. We get compliments on it every ride. I love how it converts into a cargo bike as well. Would absolutely recommend.

Love it...Be careful!

So, the Oh Wow people are great! I ended up dealing directly with them as we had some challenges on shipping...not their fault. It all worked out and we've been enjoying our first trike. It is our game day transportation to Texas A&M football games from our home about 1.5 mi off campus. It's great because we can park for free in the bike racks and get much closer to the stadium and move around without the restrictions that affect car traffic, particularly post game when roads are shut down in certain directions and delays are lengthy.

It is fast, great on straightaways! Reasonable breaking, but plan ahead. It doesn't turn like a bike, because you are upright and cannot lean into the turn on three wheels like you could on two; therefore, you need to slow down for those turns. The other issue to be aware of is slightly wider than the handle bars. Be aware because you can accidently catch one of the back wheels on a curb. That's what happened to us, which at 20+ miles/hr can eject a passenger without a seatbelt. My wife has healed and forgiven me, but has a bit of PTSD. I don't know if the seatbelt would have helped because with her ejected out, I was able to regain control. Who knows, we could have flipped with her additional weight (145 lbs) and may have been a worse outcome. Either way, it was definitely user error! I really am just trying to give my real world experience and fair warning. All that being said, it is practical and I believe a safer mode of transportation than the double scooter we were previously using.

It is well built (also heavy, but necessarily, IMO) and despite the user error, has been reliable. Lastly, I think it is a luxury purchase at the current price, but in life I've found you get what you pay for most of the time. Enjoy yours!
