ONYX CTY2 STEP THRU MOPED STYLE ELECTRIC BIKE
ONYX electric bikes have added some serious performance upgrades while preserving the CTY’s iconic style. ONYX went ahead and dropped the CTY2’s center of gravity so that you stick to the road and ride with even more control. The CTY2 can handle climbing angles of 45 degrees and has heavy duty full suspension. ONYX also increased the volume of the battery carriage to accommodate a battery that delivers more power and capacity. In addition, the CTY2 comes with integrated LED lights. So whether you’re looking for a bike to commute to work or hit the trails on the weekends, the ONYX CTY2 is the perfect bike for you.

ONYX Electric Bikes have taken the market by storm since their hugely successful IndieGoGo campaign back in 2018. ONYX bikes are unlike anything else on the market and the community built around the brand is a testament to that. ONYX is very selective with its dealer program and we are honored to be a part of the family. The ONYX CTY lineup has recently had some huge upgrades; the ONYX CTY2 comes with a 2500W Hi-Torque Hub Drive motor, 63 Volts, and up to 6000W Peak Power. They also dropped the CTY's center of gravity, moved the speed controller to the bottom of the frame for maximum cooling and airflow performance. We have been huge fans of ONYX bikes for years and we are very proud to offer their bikes to our customers.
"There is always something magical in Vintage spirit, in the nostalgia of forgotten things. Introducing the future of mopeds with the electric drive just makes sense"

"ONYX has given it new life with the CTY2, and bumped its performance specs"

"blurs the lines between practical urban, bike lane-legal ride and high-output highway cruiser in a super-retro package."
I bought one six weeks ago and I love it. These trikes are a real gift to seniors. Might not work for everyone but as a 71 year old female in moderate shape this is my pure joy !"
I saw this trike and the electrify expo in LA and i had to order one. This was the best trike i saw and the expo and i am super happy i got one. very comfortable looks great, i feel like i can take it anywhere.
Very happy, delivery was quick. The cycle is very smooth and comfortable, the step thru makes if very easy to get on and off. I am also obsessed with the matte green finish
Purchased this for a new trike and it arrived promptly in good condition, was easy to install and mades riding so much more comfortable. My wife is thinking about getting one now!
Straightforward assembly. Everything works well. Solid unit. Check on-line shifter adjustment vids; that and the brake adjustments are the only thing that aren't "out of the box" ready. About 100 miles on it so far, only re-charged once.
**over 1000 miles on it, now. I'm happy with it. I put a hitch on it and I can tow 8' lumber behind it (or a surfboard)!
Update: 794 miles on it. The handlebar stem nut loosened a few times but I got it tightened down and lock nutted with a 36mm wrench and it has been staying tight for last couple hundred miles. I need to replace the freewheel ratchet parts in the gear cassette as it is slipping and I'm not able to ride it currently. I contacted the supplier and they informed me they are shipping me parts to fix this problem.
Further update: I received the freewheel/ratchet/gear cassette replacement today under warranty. I'm happy. Thanks. (They sent me a link to a video for the procedure to pull the axle to change the part, also. It was easier than it looked on the video to pull the axle and change the gear cassette. I'm putting some more miles on it.)
Customer service was great and the bike arrived safely with no damage or issues. This bike is exactly what I was hoping for and more, it has plenty of power and great range. I would not hesitate to recommend the Freego f2 pro as well as the E-wheelswarehouse.
Shipped fast. Our scooters are great I'm a bigger women and the scooter still preforms as promised thank you
I have 700 miles on my Himiway Escape now. I've driven it all over Chicago for over a year now (it even goes through sand). The battery will last for 20 miles full speed (no pedaling) when it's new. But now I only get 16 miles. It goes 22 MPH constantly with no pedaling at all. The one thing that sucks is the screechy brakes. They were really loud, but I rub grease on the disks every couple months and it's quiet. ALL E-Bikes exaggerate their miles of range. Always look at "AH" (Amp Hours) when shopping. The Escape is 16AH, which ends up being 16 miles of range (full speed, no pedaling). I test drove the Pedego brand E-bike. It's seat was uncomfortable, only went 18 MPH, and the motor made a slight screeching noise. 22 MPH is so much more fun than 18 MPH, it's a big difference when you're on the bike. Also very important is Himiway's customer service. If you E-mail them, they WILL respond and send you parts fast.
Just received my city vanture. The packaging was well-thought-out to prevent any transit damage, and it arrived without a scratch. It just took a few minutes to remove the packing foam and attach the front wheel, handlebar and pedals. Once charged, my initial spin on it was breathtaking-felt like the best tailwind you've ever experienced. The motor very smoothly engages whenever you pedal, and the display and controls were very easy to master quickly. I look forward to many happy hours riding the trails and roads of Florida!
This cycle is already meeting my satisfaction and expectations. Had a different make and model before this, but the GIO has a wider and more comfortable seat, more detailed dashboard, better headlights, better tires, and overall performance than my previous ride. I took a long time researching various makes and models, then chose the GIO. Looks like my choice was the right one. Look forward to driving this for years.
Easy to assemble. I've had this bike for 2 weeks and ride nearly every day for 30 min - an hour and the battery is still at 98%! Got it up to 32 mph while peddling. So much fun to ride. I've ridden on trails, sidewalks and street. Powerful enough to go uphill with ease.
Very good service
Great value and fun to ride. Very dependable with no problems at all. We have recommended it to our friends and several have bought as well. They also are happy with their bikes.
After 60+ miles I can say this bike handles the gravel and rocks just fine, I was definitely worried about the tires as they felt like balloons and I figured there was no way they would hold up. I top out at 27 mph unassisted and can ride about 14ish miles back and forth and still end on between half and a quarter battery.
I do wish replacement parts were a little more affordable but can't complain.
The seat is absolutely uncomfortable but easy to replace and customize
